Despite opening to less than favourable reviews, "Vantage Point" has taken full ad-'vantage' of a quiet week at the UK Box Office by claiming the top spot with a £1.5 million debut weekend. Although, that's a cool half a million more than "The Other Boleyn Girl" could manage in its opening weekend - the Tudor romance breaking in at number 2.

Another new entry this week at 3 is the Disney family comedy "The Game Plan" - this superstar-sportsman-meets-illegitimate-and-impish-daughter yarn struck a chord with the public with nearly £800,000 in Box Office receipts and that's despite opening on far fewer screens than the top two. At 4 then, and dropping from the top spot, is "The Bank Job" with "The Accidental Husband" stepping down a place to 5.

Crashing three places to 6 is sci-fi actioner "Jumper" whilst Michel Gondry's "Be Kind Rewind" has defied expectations and managed to retain its top ten birth for the third week in a row at 7. "Juno" is finally making a swift exit from proceedings, finding herself down at 8 this week. Amazingly, Will Ferrell's "Semi-Pro" has flat-lined by haemorrhaging 7 places from 2 to 9! And bringing up the rear at 10 is awards favourite "There Will Be Blood".
