Lucy Liu plays femme fatale in Detectives romcom

Charlie's Angels star Lucy Liu is to play a femme fatale in forthcoming romantic comedy Watching The Detectives.

Chinese-New Yorker Liu will co-star with Irish hunk Cillian Murphy, who rose to fame playing a terrorist in 2005 hijack thriller Red Eye.

Watching The Detectives is about a film noir buff (Murphy) whose world is turned upside down when a beautiful, unpredictable seductress (Liu) provides far more adventure than he ever experienced, that rapidly becomes more than he can handle.

The script was written by Paul Soter (Club Dread) who is making his directorial debut on the movie. Shooting is due to start this week in New York.
