Betancourt resurrects the "Boogeyman"

Just when you thought it was safe to peak back into your closet it looks like the "Boogeyman" is set to return! It's been announced that Jeff Betancourt, the editor on upcoming horror sequel "The Grudge 2", is to make his directorial debut on a follow up to last year's low-budget hit, which starred Barry Watson and Emily Deschanel.

This latest outing, imaginatively titled "Boogeyman2", follows a young woman who holds a deep-seated phobia of the supernatural killer. In a bid to conquer her fears, she checks herself into a mental health facility only to discover that some things are best left alone. Production is due to begin in Los Angeles at the end of next month.
