Hardman Ray can't tame his wild child

He may be the British film industry's hardest actor but Ray Winstone has trouble taming his wild child daughter.

Jamie, 20, who is busy carving out her own film career, has recently been wearing some pretty revealing outfits on the red carpet. And Ray is powerless to do anything about it.

The dad of two girls confessed to the Evening Standard: "She's an amazing talent but who am I to give her any tips? She wouldn't take them anyway. I can never tell her what to do, especially with my track record. I could certainly never ell her what to wear or tell her how to dress. She's got her own mind.

"It's a different age now. If it was my parents then they'd definitely have something to say about some of the skimpier stuff she wears."

Jamie appears in Channel 4's big autumn drama series Gold Plated. She got her break following an acclaimed performance in controversial drama Kidulthood last year.

But she is clearly a daddy's girl. Ray, a former boxer, said: "She's my world. I'm very proud of her. I would definitely like to work with her at some stage. I would work with her seven days a week if I could.

"But I do get nagged a bit by my daughters. I'm a bit of a pushover. They wrap me round their little fingers."
