Miley Cyrus has written to her fans explaining why she has left Twitter for good.
The teen star was a regular on the social networking site, but recently told her fans that she was never posting again. Following that decision her fans began complaining about in on her official website.
However, Cyrus explained her reasons on her site. She wrote, "I often complain to the ones closest to me that I don't seem to have much of a private life anymore and part of that is my fault. How can I whine about my life being so public if I'm the one telling the world what I am doing. Some things in my life need to stay in my life only and not on some gossip site.
"Twitter is not the only thing I am cutting back on. I just think kids all over the world could maybe take a little vacation from Cyberspace."
