Although Jason Lee may now be best known for his leading role in cult TV sit com "My Name Is Earl", it seems the actor hasn't turned his back on the big screen. The star of director Kevin Smith's "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy" and "Clerks 2" will next be seen at your local multiplex in new comedy "Krater", which he will also co-produce.

According to trade mag Hollywood Reporter the film will be set in the late '70s & early '80s and will tell the tell of the eponymous Krater (Lee), a rock musician who has to cope with fame once his band becomes famous, thanks to a new lead singer with hidden ambitions to become a Broadway star!
