Sultry singer Norah Jones is diverting her musical career path and making her acting debut in a film.
The velvety voiced singer is to star in a movie by Hong Kong director Wong Kar-wai.
My Blueberry Nights will be Wong's first English-language film. His previous work includes 2046 and Fa Yeung Nin Wa, both nominated for the Palme d'Or award at Cannes.
And Norah isn't the only gorgeous woman Wong is working with - he is also set to direct Hollywood star Nicole Kidman in Lady from Shanghai early next year.
Norah, the daughter of renowned musician Ravi Shankar, won an incredible eight Grammys in 2003 for her hit debut album, Come Away With Me.
