Actress Britney Murphy insists she is a stronger person after learning to steer clear of reading blogs.
The Clueless actress was derided by certain blogs after her sudden marriage to screenwriter husband Simon Monjack last year.
But she chose to ignore rumours about Monjack's reported shady financial dealings and is reaping the rewards - revealing that she is enjoying life with Simon and is even planning to start a family.
She told People: "Please God, next year [we're] having a family! Yes! Yes. In about a year.
"All these ridiculous people came out and said all this nonsense when we got married," she added, "[but] thank god we had the substance and the history within that to [say], 'Yeah, whatever!'. We still don't understand what happened. It's made us laugh, it's made us cry, but it's made us stronger."
We did stop using the internet lately," said Murphy. "No blogs. We're a blog-free couple!"
