It appears that Mickey Rourke might be appearing in Iron Man 2 after all.
The Wrestler star was said to have pulled out of the movie in a row over salary
but now it's reported that he will be playing a character called Whiplash, and not Crimson Dunamo as had previously been mentioned.
Scarlett Johansson has also signed on for the movie as spy Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow after Emily Blunt was forced to pull out due to scheduling conflicts (or low pay offer according to an insider).
Those who sign deals for Iron Man, Thor, Captain America etc. will be expected to reprise the roles in the ensemble film The Avengers.
Iron Man 2, with Robert Downey Jr. returning, as the superhero, is set for release in May 2010.
