The 2005 action thriller Into The Blue is to get a sequel - and it will be a completely new cast donning the swimsuit and trunks this time.
Paul Walker, Jessica Alba, Scott Caan and a pre-No Country For Old Men Josh Brolin starred in the movie, which critics dubbed a 90 minute bikini commercial. The 'plot' focused on a group of divers who come into trouble from drug dealers after they find a sunken airplane full of their illicit stash.
However, none of the original cast will return this time around. The sequel will instead star Smallville's Lara Vandervoort, The O.Cs Chris Carmack and reality show The Hills' Audrina Patridge. This time the story revolves around a married diving couple who are hired to search for Columbus' sunken treasure. It shouldn't come as a surprise to know that the people who hired them have ulterior motives.
Into The Blue 2 will be released next year.
