Is Bruce Willis joining the A-Team? It's been reported on several film sites that the Die Hard actor is in talks to play the A-Team's grizzled cocky leader Col. John 'Hannibal' Smith.
LatinoReview claim that Shaft director John Singleton is courting Willis to star in the big screen remake of the hugely popular 1980s TV show. If true, Willis will star alongside Woody Harrelson - who looks likely to be appearing in the film as Howling Mad Murdock. He said recently, "The number one thing is you have John Singleton who’s a helluva director. The script was pretty funny. It could be a fun part.
"It was totally updated. It’s modern times."
The series focused on a group of soldiers who use their talents to help people in need. It's reported the film version will "reflect contemporary issues and politics" and be "less cartoony" than the TV show.
