Shawshank Redemption actor Tim Robbins has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The 49-year-old, who also starred in films such as The Player and Jacob's Ladder, was awarded the honour at a ceremony on Friday.
His plaque was placed next to his long time partner Susan Sarandon's star.
While witnessing his immortalisation, Robbins recalled when he used to pass the plaques he didn't exactly treat them with the respect Hollywood might feel they warrant.
"I used to take the bus from here to Burbank to go to work. When the bus was late, I would walk up and down and throw my cigarettes down," he said.
"Now I have the honour of having this done to my star."
