Spider-Man 3 is clinging on to the US box office top spot for another week.
The blockbuster, which stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst, earned six times as much as its nearest rival on its second weekend of release, taking £30.3m in three days.
Takings-wise, Spider-Man 3 eclipsed British horror 28 Weeks Later (pic), which still enjoyed a respectable debut at No.2, taking £5.1m.
Georgia Rule, starring Jane Fonda and Lindsay Lohan, was new at No.3, thriller Disturbia, a former chart topper, fell two places to fourth place, while war parody Delta Farce entered at No.5.
