All the boys have dreamed of being compared to Johnny Depp - but some have to dream a bit harder than others.
Jonah Hill, best known as 'the chubby kid in Superbad', is apparently set to take a role that once belonged to the oft-voted 'world's sexiest man'.
Entertainment Weekly are reporting that Hill is putting his training at Judd Apatow's comedy school to use, writing the screenplay for, and executive producing, an adaptation of 21 Jump Street.
The TV show, which ran during the late 80s, gave Depp his first taste of stardom as the leader of a team of undercover cops infiltrating high schools.
No word yet on whether Hill will also star, though it's to be hoped he turns his considerable comic talents to the Depp role of Officer Tom Hanson.
