Stiller spills "Madagascar 2" news

We've had more animated movies about animals than we could shake a stick at recently with the likes of "Over The Hedge", "Barnyard: The Original Party Animals" and "Open Season" all gracing our cinema screens. And now some details about the sequel to movie that started it all - "Madagascar" - have emerged.

Comedian Ben Stiller was talking to ComingSoon.net recently when the conversation turned to "Madagascar 2". "We're starting to record it very soon," he said before giving a bit of plot news: "I think all the animals head back to New York on that plane that you know was up in the trees, then they crash in Africa, Alex gets reacquainted with his real family and it goes from there". Expect "Madagascar 2" to open in late 2008.
