A US judge has ruled that the woman accused of stalking Hollywood actor John Cusack will stand trial.
Emily Leatherman, 33, was arrested earlier this month after a taxi driver informed police that she didn't have enough money to pay for her fare. She was outside the High Fidelity actor's Malibu house at the time, and Cusack told the officers she had been following him.
It's not the first time Cusack has had problems with Leatherman. He was granted a restraining order in 2006 against her, which stated she must stay at least 500 feet away from him at all times. He claimed she was "showing unusual interest by stalking, throwing long letters of interest over my fence in bags with rocks and screwdrivers inside."
Leatherman, who was also charged with petty theft, faces up to three years in jail.
