Hilary and Alan Partridge unite

Hilary Duff and Steve Coogan are leading an all-star cast on Safety Glass, a teen drama surrounding the events of the space shuttle Challenger tragedy.

The Lizzie McGuire star turned singer will be joined by Steve Coogan, Amanda Peet, Amber Tamblyn (The Grudge 2), and Amanda Seyfried (Alpha Dog) in the project written and directed by pop video director Jonathan Glatzer.

Safety Glass will tell the story of NASA's ill fated flight from the perspective of a reporter who becomes close to a bunch of school kids.

Coogan will also serve as the executive producer on the film due 2008.
