Alba to play Cook's dream girl

Jessica Alba has joined the cast of romcom Good Luck Chuck.

The Into The Blue actress will star alongside TV/film actor Dane Cook, who previously worked with another Jessica (Simpson) on comedy Employee Of The Month.

In Good Luck Chuck, Cook plays a serial dating master who escapes relationship hassles because any woman he meets immediately finds her soul mate shortly after. Trouble starts when he meets his own Alba-shaped soul mate.

Directed by Mark Helfrich (X Men 3, Scary Movie, Rush Hour) and based on Josh Stolberg’s script, filming starts next month.
