The blonde star is keen to maintain her girl-next-door image by making yet another rom-com with her Sweet Home Alabama director Andy Tennant called Around the World in 80 Dates.
The comedy is based on the book by Jennifer Cox, the tale a British travel writer's attempt to find love by sending her profile and specs to contacts around the world.
Witherspoon is also producing the film.
