Reese Witherspoon admits she is desperate to reinvent herself as an action heroine.
The Walk The Line star admits she is jealous of actresses like Angelina Jolie who get to juggle dramatic roles with popcorn action fare.
She said, "I would like to do an action movie. I love to watch Angelina Jolie in movies like Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
"I think movies where women have great strength and character are interesting. I'm dying to do one."
Witherspoon recently admitted that her two children are embarrassed by her. Maybe that will all change when she becomes an action star.
