Sarah Jessica Parker insists that the delay in making the Sex And The City movie had nothing to do with the female quartet disagreeing over money.
The actress was keen to dismiss rumours about the women constantly bickering behind the scenes, over money in particular, saying that it was actually the male actors involved who were the most demanding.
She told Closer: "Let this go down in the history books that the men's contracts were far more complicated than the women's contracts. Just so you know. I've said enough already."
Whether Chris Noth aka Mr Big (pic) was amongst those holding out for a bigger pay cheque or not we'll probably never know.
Co-star Kim Cattrall had previously been frustrated at what she saw was inequality in the wages department during the show's TV run. The actress, who plays promiscuous Samantha said back in 2005 when the film was being mooted: "I think there is a chance. I think that the script has to be there and I think financially we should all benefit, not just some of us."
