Woody Harrelson is excitedly looking forward to 2012. No, nothing to do with the London Olympics, he has joined the cast of Robert Emmerich's natural disaster movie called 2012.
The actor was chuffed to have been asked to appear in the ambitious film alongside the likes of John Cusack, Amanda Peet, Chiwetel Ejifor, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Singaporean Dark Knight actor Chin Han.
He told MTV: "I don't know why they thought of me. But I like the idea.
"I play a guy who's been talking for a long time, the whole world thinks he's crazy. But he's been talking that there's gonna be hell to pay for what's been going on ecologically and everything."
The film is scheduled for release in July 2009.
