Robert De Niro knew how to break the ice with his Righteous Kill co-star 50 Cent - he took him shooting.
And the Oscar winner's marksmanship was so accurate, the rapper was dutifully impressed. He revealed, "We went a couple of times together. He was a much better shot than I thought he would be. I was impressed."
De Niro teams up with Al Pacino in the cop thriller in which 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, plays a drug dealer.
The rapper also revealed that he wasn't nervous working with the heavyweight actors: "I was comfortable, because I was really well-prepared. I had worked long and hard with an acting coach specifically for that role."
Righteous Kill is released on September 25.
