"The Incredible Hulk" director Louis Leterrier must certainly have a thing for irradiated monsters and the like. Hot of the heels of his Big Green success ("The Incredible Hulk" having today been confirmed at the top of the UK Box Office Chart), Leterrier has quickly jumped into negotiations to develop and direct "Strays", an action thriller for Summit Entertainment.
The Hollywood Reporter has the inside scoop on this eco thriller with a group of young consultants, on a business trip to Russia, finding themselves in an abandoned city loaded with radioactivity. Soon enough thier plight goes from bad to worse as a number of nightmarish obstacles present themselves (my money is own mutated cannibals) and things descend into a fight for their lives.
Leterrier's previous credits, not withstanding "The Incredible Hulk", such as the Jason Statham action franchise "The Transporter" should serve him well when realising this particular dystopian action-fest.
