Jim Carrey & Gary Shandling's animated roles

DreamWorks SKG, the studio behind "Shrek," have announced plans for a new traditionally animated movie to be based on the successful US newspaper comic strip "Over The Hedge." The big screen adaptation will feature the voice of Jim Carrey as the troublemaking raccoon R.J, with Garry Shandling supplying the voice of the more careful, quiet turtle Verne. It will focus on the two characters as their wild environment is targeted for suburban development, and is currently scheduled to reach multiplexes some time in 2005.
