Steven Spielberg is commissioning Oscar-winning Juno writer Diablo Cody to pen a comedy script .
The untitled film is based on an original idea by the director but it has been shrouded in secrecy to the extent that even Spielberg's studio DreamWorks have no information to divulge, Variety reports.
Cody was initially brought to Spielberg's attention when her Juno script did the Hollywood rounds. He reportedly considered directing the film before Jason Reitman was eventually brought in.
It won't be the first time the pair have collaborated as they previously worked together on the Showtime sitcom The United States Of Tara.
