Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter received an early Christmas present on Saturday - the actress gave birth to a baby girl.
The couple, who also have a four year old son Billy, welcomed their daughter after she was born in a London hospital late on Saturday night.
Carter's representative Karon Maskill told People.com, "They are absolutely delighted they have a daughter. It's a lovely Christmas present for the family."
Carter recently said the anticipation of having another child was so strong, saying, "I just can't wait. It's hard to imagine we can make anything other than Billy."
One thing is for sure though, their daughter must already hate theatre songs after hearing her parents work on musical film Sweeney Todd while in utero.
"Maybe the baby's going to come out with his hands on his ears. 'Shut up!'", admitted Carter.
