Director Mathieu Kassovitz's ("Gothika") troubled movie "Babylon A.D." is back on track after an unscheduled break of two weeks. The film, which stars Vin Diesel, Charlotte Rampling and Michelle Yeoh, had begun shooting in the Czech Republic when it ran into problems, including uncooperative weather and problems with set construction. Several crew members have also left the production.
The $60 million budgeted movie is a futuristic action-thriller based on a cult novel by Maurice Dantec and stars Diesel as a mercenary hired to escort a young woman who has been genetically altered so she now is carrying a virus that could destroy the human race. Yeoh plays a nun accompanying the young girl.
