Sadly Indiana Jones's mate Sallah, who famously saved the archaeologist from 'bad dates' in Raiders Of The Lost Ark, WON'T be returning for the upcoming fourth adventure.
The subordinate Sallah, played by John Rhys-Davies, who also appeared in The Last Crusade had been rumoured to be returning to the franchise, but Spielberg and Lucas are reportedly after a younger cast - hence the signing of Shia Labouef as Indy's son.
Indy 4, or Indiana Jones and the City of Gods as some internet sites have been reporting, will not feature any old characters from past movies so that's a no to previous stories suggesting actresses Karen Allen (Marion) or Spielberg's wife Kate Capshaw (Willie) would be back.
The one exception is Sir Sean Connery as Indy's father but he has yet to agree to appear in the film. Cate Blanchett will also star alongside Harrison Ford in the movie set for release next May.
