Anna Faris has turned down the chance to star in a big budget biopic of Linda Lovelace because she would prefer to keep making comedies.
The actress rose to fame by starring in spoof franchise Scary Movie, and she revealed she is happy to "stick to comedies". Faris was being lined up to play the porn star in a Brian Glazer produced biopic but pulled out. Explaining why, she told Moviehole that the Lovelace role would be "too heavy" at this stage in her career.
You can see Faris next in (surprise, surprise) comedy The House Bunny. She plays an exiled Playboy bunny who finds herself living at a stuffy frat-house. Hilarity will no doubt ensue.
