There's just no stopping Bond at the UK Box Office! Daniel Craig's secret agent has been anything but shy at the top spot with "Quantum of Solace" scooping up in excess of £40 million since it opened three weeks ago. With an apparent License to Thrill (sorry), the 22nd instalment in the Bond franchise has become entrenched in the Chart and not even an angry Mark Wahlberg can dislodge him from that heady summit. "Max Payne" brought everything bar the kitchen sink to the fight and came away battered and beaten with this game-to-film adaptation barely scraping past the £1 million mark on its opening weekend - not a bad result considering the critical kicking it's received of late. Markey Mark still had enough funk leftover to edge out those Wildcat wannabes though in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year". The all-singing, all-dancing kids have fallen one place down to 3 this week.

A new entry in at 4 is Kevin Smith's smut-fest "Zack and Miri Make a Porno". Starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks, this comedy tag team managed to pull in close to £800,000 on its bow and thereby forced Ricky Gervais down one spot to 5 in "Ghost Town". This week's Wild Card goes to Bollywood hit "Dostana". Typically pulling in the punters despite a limited release slate, this musically tinged drama came crashing in to the Chart at 6 this week with the highest screen average outside of the top spot!

Falling fast down to 7 then is "Burn After Reading" with George Clooney et al wishing they had read the fine print on this one before it slipped out of sight. Showing some surprising backbone at 8 meanwhile is Jessica Biel in "Easy Virtue"! And finally, all the way down in the bottom two, is CG 'toon "Igor" at 9 with "Saw V", (fingers-crossed) marking the horror franchise's final farewell to the UK Box Office at 10!
