"X-Men" star Famke Janssen has signed up to take the lead in new supernatural thriller "100 Feet". Written and to be directed by Eric Red (writer of the classic "The Hitcher"), the movie will see the Dutch actress playing a young woman locked up for manslaughter after killing her violent hubby in self defence. However when she's released - on condition she wear an electronic tag and never venture more that 100 feet from her front door - she thinks her life is getting back on track, until the vengeful ghost of her late husband starts to create havoc within the house.
"We've been fortunate to cast Famke Janssen in the role of Marnie," an excited Red told Arrow in the Head, adding "nobody could play the part better!" Filming on "100 Feet" is due to start in April in New York and Hungary.
