The famous Annie Liebovitz photo of a pregnant Demi Moore on the cover of Vanity Fair was never intended for the public, the actress claims.
Moore told America's V magazine that the 1991 shot – which paved the way for celebrity mums to reveal all – was only intended to be seen by her family.
"Annie had photographed me pregnant with all three (daughters)," she said. "The shot that ended up being on the cover of Vanity Fair wasn't even done for the magazine. It was just for me and our family.
"Then Annie called, we kind of joked, and I said it would be amazing if they would do this on the cover."
The famous shoot has been copied and spoofed by all manner of celebs since, from Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to Italian screen siren Monica Bellucci and British stars Javine and Myleene Klass.
Moore can be heard, if not seen, later in the year in the adventure/animation film The Magic 7, in which she voices the character of U-Z-Onesa.
