Could Angelina Jolie one day become President of America? Well stranger things have happened... just look at Arnie and Reagen.
She's known for her humanitarian work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador, but new mum Angelina says she'd love to get more involved with politics and didn't rule out standing for a government position.
Speaking to Forbes magazine on running for office Angelina said: "It’s difficult, as much as I’d love to get more involved in different ways, I am able to work with everyone [as an actress]. Otherwise, I would have to take a side, and I don’t know I’d be very good. I don’t have the confidence …
"If that day comes, it would surprise me more than anyone.”
Jolie also said she "can't wait" until there's a more flexible party than the Republicans in office, and although she doesn't have a formal political education, says she's seen many shocking things during her six years of UN globe-trotting.
But she's not likely to make any career changes soon - Ang, who gave birth to baby Shiloh last month, added: "I am very lucky that I am not a single parent. I can’t imagine how difficult it is for mothers who have to go back to work so soon."
