Harry Potter bosses reportedly banned Daniel Radcliffe from playing a major part in a charity cricket match because of injury fears.

Potter actors Daniel Radcliffe, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis all participated in a charity cricket match on Sunday to raise money for David Holmes - Radcliffe's stunt double who was paralysed after an on-set accident on Deathly Hallows earlier this year.

Although cricket enthusiast Radcliffe was allowed to play as a fielder, he was told to sit out during his turn to bat and bowl because of insurance reasons, reports The London Lite.

With filming on the final Harry Potter movie underway studio chiefs must have been a bag of nerves during the game.

Team Gryiffindor still won without Radcliffe batting or bowling - they beat Felton's Team Slytherin by four wickets.
