Sarah Jessica Parker has hinted that there might not be a sequel to the Sex And The City movie after all.

The actress feels she might have exhausted the role of the saucy relationship columnist after six TV series and a movie with all the characters/actresses over 40.

Parker said: "It has taken the last two years of my life to get to this point. To ask for anything beyond that, honestly, we would have to be greedy. I don't really even feel that it's in our control."

Although she's lived with the character for 10 years, SJP says she won't have a problem leaving her behind.

"It wasn't difficult to let go, I think that maybe it's because I've always sort of looked at this as literature. Maybe it's because we have had so many chapters to tell. It's always bittersweet, but I never have felt a need to do beyond what had been on the page."

Not quite on the same page as SJP it seems is co-star Chris Noth (Mr Big) who recently said a follow up is likely and might even be shot in London.
