Singer Jessica Simpson has grand plans for her acting career - she want's to be the next Julia Roberts. And she has already started phase one by trying to remake 1990s Pretty Woman.
Simpson is desperate to play the prostitute Vivian Ward, originally played by Roberts who starred alongside Richard Gere. The hit film was a Cinderella-esque tale about a call girl falling in love with a wealthy businessman.
A source close to the singer/actress told OK Magazine, "She thinks this one's got hit written all over it. (Her father) Joe has been telling anyone who will listen that she's the next Julia Roberts."
Julia probably hasn't got anything to worry about just yet.
