20,000 Leagues Under the Sea 1955

A mad scientist has created a monster-like looking submarine that sails underneath the oceans. He takes hostage a professor and a hardy sailor on one of his exploits, but an encounter with a giant squid, from whose clutches he is rescued by the sailor, cause him to have a change of heart and share his brilliant scientific secrets with the world.
