Uma doesn't want her kids to act

Uma Thurman has revealed that she dreads her children getting into the movie business.

Thurman has two children, 9-year-old daughter Maya Ray and 6-year-old son Levon Roan whose father is Training Day star Ethan Hawke. The pair divorced in 2004.

Asked about what would happen if her kids wanted to become actors, the Kill Bill star told GMTV, “Let’s just pretend it will never happen…It will never happen.”

The Pulp Fiction star added she’s only shown her kids a little of her work and is happy just to be ‘Mum’, “I don’t want them to care. I’m just their mother.”

Discussing her first time as a producer in her latest film, The Accidental Husband, Uma revealed she was never bossy around the set.

“I’m no more or less bossy than I would be in the kitchen... I kind of cross my fingers and hope everybody gets it right!”
