It would seem that if you can walk, talk and stand up straight then you will get a job in the "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". Just about anyone who's anyone is passing through the audition doors to tag along in the mutant prequel. And now Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am has signed up for his first acting role as John Wraith.
Will.i.am joins the newly recruited Taylor Kitsch (Gambit) in director Gavin Hood's take on Hugh Jackman's steely-clawed mutant. In the comics John Wraith is perhaps best described as a cool peripheral player, a test subject of the Weapon X programme and a mutant with the power to teleport at will (much like the Nightcrawler as featured in Bryan Singer's "X2").
"X-Men Origins: Wolverine" is due for release on May 1, 2009.
