Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall is signing the unlikely combination of teen queen Lindsay Lohan, Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman and Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda for his new black comedy, Georgia Rule.
Fonda, who enjoyed a successful comeback in 2005 comedy Monster In Law, is currently negotiating her contract alongside Transamerica actress Huffman and starlet Lohan, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Penned by Mark Andrus (As Good As It Gets), the story centres on a rebellious young woman (Lohan) sent by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend a summer with her grandmother (Fonda).
Director Marshall's CV includes box office hits like The Princess Diaries, Runaway Bride, Beaches and Pretty Woman.
There are still two male roles to be cast, with shooting beginning this August, most likely in Los Angeles.
