It's been all of 25 years since the original was made so surely it's time for a remake of Fame. Well that's what 300 producer Mark Canton and Lakeshore Entertainment are prepping.
With a budget of $25 million a remake of Alan Parker's '80's classic school of performing arts drama is set to launch a whole new generation of wannabe performers, and a new range of leg warmers too no doubt.
Currently being written, Fame was given the go-ahead following the success of recent dancing/singing movies such as High School Musical and Save The Last Dance.
Fame also spawned a long running TV series in the '80s giving us such familiar characters as Bruno, Leeroy and Doris.
