Kevin Spacey has reportedly pulled out of a new film charting the death of Princess Diana.

It's been claimed that Spacey was to play a journalist investigating the princess's death in the film but has since done a U-turn on the decision. A source told The Daily Telegraph, "He decided that he didn't want any part of it."

The film, which has the working title The Death Of Diana, is to be directed by Basic Instinct producer Mario Kassar. The source added, "Kassar is now searching for a new actor to take the pivotal role."

However, it's not just the role that Spacey vacated that Kassar needs to fill - it's reported that he is struggling to find big name actors for the other parts.
