ITV's inaugural National Movie Awards will take place at London’s Royal Festival Hall on September 28, with Bond film Casino Royale represented in several categories.
In addition to a nomination for Best Action Film, the movie's stars - Daniel Craig, Eva Green and Dame Judi Dench - are all up for Best Performance gongs.
Films released between September 2006 and August 2007 were eligible for consideration and the Bond flick is up against Die Hard 4.0, 300 and Transformers.
Craig's fellow nominees in the Best Male category are: Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp (both for Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End), Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe (both for Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix), Shia LeBeouf (Transformers), Tobey Maguire (Spider-man 3) and Bruce Willis (Die Hard 4.0).
Dench and Green will battle it out for Best Female Performance with: Kirsten Dunst (Spider-man 3), Megan Fox (Transformers), Keira Knightley (Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End) and Emma Watson (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix).
In other categories The Simpsons Movie and Borat are also vying for prizes.
The winners of the National Movie Awards will be decided upon by the public using voting forms available at cinemas across the country and in national newspapers and magazines. You can also vote now on the National Movie Awards website.
The ceremony will be aired on ITV1 September 29.
