Tucker to play Sinatra on-screen

Brett Ratner and Chris Tucker will be reunited on the set of new film My Life With Frank Sinatra.

The duo last worked together on assassination drama Rush Hour 3, which was released in the summer.

My Life With Frank Sinatra is based on a tell-all book by George Jacobs, Sinatra's long-time valet, and William Stadiem, a long-term old Hollywood biographer and screenwriter.

The story follows Ol' Blue Eyes' life, weaving in celebrity anecdotes involving Marilyn Monroe, Peter Lawford, the Kennedys, Ava Gardner, Humphrey Bogart, Mia Farrow, Elvis, Marlene Dietrich and legendary agent Swifty Lazar.

Ratner (pic) takes on both the director and producer roles for this new production, while Tucker will play the lead.

""It's like a love story between two very unlikely people," Stadiem told Variety. "Brett is a Rat Pack obsessive, and so it's fun to work with someone so passionate about the period. I think he's channelling Frank sometimes."
