The big lump of a man that is Jeffrey Dean Morgan, star of "Grey's Anatomy" and soon to be filling our screens in "Watchmen", has decided to throw his lot in with "The Losers". No, this is not some rogue band of former TV stars laying waste to Hollywood, but rather a team of GIs based on the cult DC-Vertigo comic book series.
"The Losers" are a band of black ops commandos who are set up to be killed by their own government - however things go somewhat awry and the team survive and feel a little bit aggrieved at the attempt on their lives. Cue some all-out, bullet-ridden revenge.
The James Vanderbilt-scripted project (he who is also scripting "Spider-Man 4") is being financed by Dark Castle Entertainment with Joel Silver, Weed Road's Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster producing.
