Mix up Jennifer Aniston, Owen Wilson and a cute Labrador puppy, and you've got the slushiest film ever - aka Marley And Me.
Jen and Owen have signed up to the adaptation of John Grogan's bestselling memoir, about his life with a bouncy Labrador retriever. The A-list duo play a newly married couple who buy a cute little puppy, to give them a taste of parenthood. But the dog, Marley, is more of a handful than any toddler - although of course, he eventually becomes a much-loved member of the family.
Marley And Me will be directed by David Frankel (The Devil Wears Prada) with the latest draft of the script being written by Scott Frank (The Interpreter).
Filming begins early 2008, and casting directors say they're seeking an unknown talent to play the hairy lead. Woof.
