Steven Soderberg's copporate caper, which stars Matt Damon and Scott Bakula, was a brand new entry in second place after taking over $10 million.
Last week's number one - Tyler Perry's I can Do Bad All By Myself, dropped to third place.
Jennifer Aniston's romantic comedy Love Happens and Megan Fox horror film Jennifer's Body rounded out top five.
