Sean Penn's epic road trip movie Into the Wild is leading the nominations for 2008s Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards.
The film received four nominations - the film's star Emile Hirsch is up for best actor, while Hal Holbrook and Catherine Keener were nominated for their supporting roles.
They will also battle No Country for Old Men, 3:10 To Yuma, Hairspray and American Gangster for best performance by an overall cast.
George Clooney, Daniel Day Lewis, Viggo Mortensen and Ryan Gostling are up for best actor, while Cate Blanchett, Julie Cristie, Marion Cotillard, Angelina Jolie and Ellen Page have been nominated for best actress.
The SAG awards are a good indicator ahead of the Academy awards.
Winners will be announced on January 27.
