Serial partygoer and and occasional actress Lindsay Lohan is to finally start making movies again.
The Mean Girls star is due to team up with rotund comic Jack Black in Ye Old Times, a film that will expose the dark underbelly of renaissance fairs competitions. Buxom wenches and jousting gags aplenty should be the order of the day.
She may be labelled work-shy by some of the nastier elements of the entertainment press, but Lohan has had a pretty busy year or so. Besides starring in such sunk-without-trace fodder as Georgia Rule and Chapter 27, the 21-year-old starlet managed to squeeze in a spell in rehab, an arrest and a Golden Raspberry nomination for her portrayal of a stripper in I Know Who Killed Me.
Her attitude was publicly criticised by a studio executive last year, but let's hope the once-promising actress can get her career back on track in the new comedy.
Ye Olde Times will start shooting in April, and alongside Lohan and Black, it will also feature David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Cary Elwes, Ann Margaret, Orlando Jones and Molly Bryant.
